      Charles Presly Boylston has been practicing employment law for 12 years, representing both employers and employees through all stages of litigation. Mr. Boylston has experience with employers of all sizes, and employees in various employment claims including wage and hour, harassment, discrimination, whistelblower, wrongful termination, hostile work environment, and disability claims. Mr. Boylston has also provided seminars to employers and business groups on topics such as Work Place Privacy, Prevention of Sexual Harassment, Family Medical Leave, Legislative Updates and Minimizing Employer Exposure to Employment Law Suits. Charles has years of experience researching and writing papers on employment laws, including an annual employment law update provided to hundreds of employers throughout the Inland Empire.

      Mr. Boylston's years of litigation experience and research skills make him an excellent value for representation in family law proceedings. His work ethic and his capabilities in legal analysis, along with his understanding of negotiations and how to reach common understandings and agreements, serve him well in even the most difficult of family law disputes.

      Charles has been involved in the legal and business community in various roles including as President of the Riverside County Barristers, a member of the Leo Deegan Inns of Court, a founding member of the Inland Empire Society for Human Resources, a board member for PIHRA, a graduate of the Redlands Leadership Class, a board member for the Inland Caregiver Resource Center and the Chair for the Redlands Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee.

      Biography
      • Charles was born in Chester, Pennsylvania and raised in Northern Virginia. After high school Charles attended the distinguished George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. At George Mason University, Charles wrote two plays, one of which was performed in a live reading at the University. Charles obtained a double major (English Literature/ Philosophy) before continuing on to Law School in Omaha Nebraska at the Creighton School of Law. In Law School Charles excelled as a student in various areas of law, and was a founder of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, a member of the Advanced Trial Team, and an editor for the Law School’s regular paper. Charles also interned with the honorable Judge Edwin Neil of the Government Services Administration in Washington D.C. his first year summer recess. Charles’ first job out of law school was with the firm of Thompson & Colegate LLP out of Riverside California where he had the honor of working with Geoffrey H. Hopper in the Employment law department. Charles left Thompson & Colegate LLP and worked in Geoffrey H. Hopper’s firm, handling employment cases big and small over  a ten year span before deciding to open his own practice in June of 2010.
